Our family, the Petersens, has been in the Comox Valley for over 40 years and we are deeply connected to the community.
All four Petersen brothers grew up here and still live in the area with our families. For several decades, our family owned and ran the Buckley Bay Petro Canada and the Union Bay Market.
We developed our work ethic, attention to detail, and customer-service skills over many years of serving the Comox Valley.
When we decided to go into the self-storage business, we researched the features that people are looking for, and we built our business to provide them:

- RV and boat storage in a secure outdoor compound
- Flexible access, 365 days a year
- Single-storey access (almost all units are ground level)
- Almost all units are drive-up accessible
- Modern video cameras for extra peace of mind
- Fully secure compound
- Live-in assistant manager on site
- Family-owned by long-time locals
We all love living in the Valley and we intend to provide excellent, reliable, affordable self-storage facilities to our Comox Valley neighbours for many years to come. We treat our customers the way we would want to be treated, because we are your neighbours and fellow community members, and because that’s just how we operate.
Giving back to the Comox Valley
Our number-one goal as a family-run business is to help children, especially here in BC.
Over the years, we have contributed tens of thousands to BC Children’s Hospital, YANA, and other local charities. Our goal is to continue to grow these donations in the future, and to make a difference in our community!
